The facelifted Ciaz continues to come in four variant - Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha, with latter-most featuring all the bells and whistles. The 2018 Ciaz facelift comes with considerable cosmetic updates, a host of new and updated features, and a new mild hybrid petrol engine as well. The Ciaz has received an update after almost four years and the car is now well-equipped to take on its rivals like the Hyundai Verna, Honda City and the new Toyota Yaris among others.

Visually, the overall silhouette of the new 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz remains similar to the pre-facelift model, however, the new Maruti Ciaz now has a different personality. The 2018 model gets a completely new face as compared to the previous model, with updates such as a re-designed grille, new swept-back headlamp cluster which includes projector lamps and daytime running lamps as well. The front end also gets a new bumper with bigger intakes and beefier design. Additionally, the 2018 Ciaz also gets new alloy wheels and minor updates to the rear such as new LED tail lamps as well. First launched in 2014, this is the first ever thorough facelift that the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz received.

The other change is the new colour instrumentation console and cruise control.
