All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. India has been the lead market to develop the third generation Grand i10 (i10 globally) and will also be the first market to get the model ahead of its launch in Europe later this year. In India, the Grand i10 Nios will co-exist with the current model. Hyundai had already started accepting bookings for the new Grand i10 Nios. The name 'Nios' means more and the company says that the design of the new Grand i10 car is inspired by Indian architecture and nature!

The new Grand i10 Nios gets a fresh new face in line with its global design language. The front end gets new headlamp clusters with projector lamps. The front grille also gets a new shape and the inside boundary is flanked by two boomerang LED daytime running lamps. The fog lamps have a triangular housing for them. Hyundai has made the new-generation Grand i10 Nios edgier and sexier by introducing angular elements. The bonnet for example, gets multiple creases for a bold look. Apart from front end, the profile sees a floating roof, newly designed alloys and rising window line along with chrome door handles which make for a premium looking hatchback.

The interior too gets an overhaul and wears a premium look. The dashboard gets a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which gets smartphone connectivity. The steering and the AC vents have been borrowed from the Hyundai Venue. There is new ivory-grey fabric upholstery on offer which further ups the premium quotient inside the cabin. The dashboard design is not busy and keeps things classy and elegant.

Grand i10 Nios will continue to use the 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines. The 1.2-litre petrol makes 82 bhp and 114 Nm and comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox as also a 5-step AMT as well. The 1.2 litre diesel makes 74 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. The diesel too is available with a 5-speed manual and an AMT. The petrol engine with the manual transmission returns a fuel economy figure of 20.7 kmpl while the AMT returns 20.2 kmpl. The diesel on the other hand for both the diesel manual and automatic is 26.2 kmpl

There will be a total of 10 variants including dual tone on offer for the new-generation Grand i10 Nios car with four trim variants for the petrol manual, 2 on the petrol AMT, 2 with the diesel manual and 1 variant on the diesel AMT.  The four trims will be Era, Magna, Sportz and the top-of-the-line Asta.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is available in 6 colours - Polar white, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Alpha Blue, Aqua Teal. Of course there are dual-tone options available as well but only with the Polar white and the Aqua Teal colours and both get a black roof.

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios comes packed to the gills with features and this includes the new new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system which gets Bluetooth, voice recognition and of course Apple Carplay and Android Auto. It also gets an Arkamys sound system on the top-end variants.
As far as safety goes, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios gets ABS with EBD, Dual airbags, rear parking sensors, driver and passenger seatbelt reminder and pretensioners and speed alert system as standard on the car. In the top-end variants you get features like rear view camera, headlamp escort system, speed sensing door unlock.
