Hyundai Motor India Limited finally announced the name of its upcoming micro SUV – Hyundai Exter. The new car will join the Hyundai SUV family such as Venue, Creta, Alcazar, Kona and Tucson. The same 'Casper' micro-SUV that has already been revealed internationally. However, it will be named Exter for the Indian market.
Dimensions of Exter. Exter will span 3,595mm long, 1,595mm wide and 1,575mm high. It will be based on the same K1 platform as the Hyundai Santro.
Exterior of Exter: from the front exter has wide grill with round headlamps gives distinct look and sleek led setup.from side exter has high ground clearance like suv. Rear of this suv has very distinct look , connecting taillamps , round reflector etc.
Powertrain of Hyundai Exter : Hyundai might introduce the Exter with Grand i10 Nios' 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine, or Santro’s 1.1-litre four-cylinder unit could also do duties under the hood of the new Exter. There could be a 5-Speed MT and a 4-speed automatic gearbox on the car. It will be priced somewhere in the range of Rs 5 lakh to Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be a direct rival to Tata Punch.
