Citroen recently unveiled mid-size SUV C3 Aircross in India. The manufacturer aims to compete with SUVs like Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos in the segment.Expected price of Citroen C3 aircross stand between Rs 10lakh to Rs 15 lakh Engine and Transmission: Citroen C3 Aircross SUV is available only with a petrol engine option. The SUV will get a 1.2 litre turbocharged petrol engine options that generate 110 Ps and 190 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Citroen does not offer an automatic transmission with the SUV yet.
Dimensions : The new C3 Aircross measures 4,300mm in length, 1,796mm in width, 1,654mm in height and has a wheelbase of 2,671mm. Exterior : From the front side,SUV gets Y-shaped LED DRLs that are designed like an extension of the front grille.The front grille of the SUV gets chrome garnish with the Citroen logo in the center. There are gloss black elements around the grille with an air dam below it. The upper LED DRL has a halogen turn indicator.The bumper of the SUV gets a muscular design with a silver skid plate at the bottom.
From the side ,the main attraction is the 4 spoke dual-tone alloy wheel. The SUV gets 17-inch alloy wheels with thick claddings around the wheel arch.On the side profile, flap-type door handles, key hole indicating that the SUV does not come with a keyless entry feature.
From rear also gets a muscular-looking bumper with a silver faux skid plate. The bumper also has reflectors on it. An integrated roof spoiler, rear defogger and windscreen wiper are also available. Citroen C3 SUV comes with a C-shaped tail lamp which extends a bit to the rear fender of the SUV. There is a gloss black strip that runs across the boot of the car.
Citroen is offering C3 Aicross in both 5-seater and 7-seater configurations. In the 5-seater version, the SUV offers a boot space of the 5 seater version is 444 litres and the 7-seater version with third-row seats folded offers 347 litres of boot space. Interior : The Interior of the C3 Aircross SUV looks similar to the C3 hatchback. It gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The design of the AC vents are also similar to the hatchback. The SUV gets a flat bottom steering wheel with controls. The driver gets a dedicated armrest. The SUV misses on features like cruise control, push start/stop button, and automatic climate control as well. The instrument cluster on this SUV is a colour TFT display.
The second-row passengers get 60:40 split seats. In the seven-seater version, the seats can be tumbled down to access the last row seat.
