OLA likely to launch an electric car in 2024, here’s what we know about it

Ola set their foot in electric vehicle manufacturing buisness & ola s1 pro is the best selling electric scooter in EV market of india.Now company entered in electric four-wheeler market. Leaked patent image gives glimpse of upcoming ola four-wheeler, which is in concept stage.However, production model looks could differ.

Let's take a look on exterior design of ola EV four-wheeler . Ola EV is likely to be a sedan with coupe-style roof similar to tesla model-S design and model 3.OLA EV is simple and aerodynamic design to improve car performance.EV wheels are pushed outward to the edges to increase its wheelbase and helping OLA package a larger battery-pack.There is no grille in front but the round and smooth bumper with couple of air-intakes on either sides in front of the car.

OLA EV has sleek horizontal LED headlamps which are sits right above the bumper of the car.Both the LED headlamps are connected to each-other via LED light-bar.In profile,there seems to be a prominent aie-vent of the front fender and scooped front door with flush door handles, car likely featuring cameras instead of traditional ORVMs.Window line appear pinched at both ends, also gets dual tone aerodynamic alloywheels.Car has dual-tone effect with full-glass roof.

OLA EV interior includes feature like octagonal two spoke steering wheel with haptic controls, free standing digital instrument cluster , landscape oriented floating touchscreen infotainment design. The teaser hinted at a very minimalistic design that will likely be devoid of physical controls.

Ola EV likely to come with 70-80kWh battery-pack with range of over 500km in a single charge.The brand has previously also said that it's aiming for a sub-4 second 0-100kph sprint time and drag co-efficient of 0.21Cd. OLA EV also get assisted driving capabilities , keyless and handleless doors and will be powered by ola's in-house MoveOS software.

Price:

Car starting price likely to start at Rs 25 lakh because OLA is not targeting budget segment but instead it's going for premium segment with it's first car.
