Tata Sierra is the first luxury SUV for private use in India in1991. Now company has showcased this car in Auto-expo 2023 as electric vehicle. Tata Sierra EV front profile 

Tata Sierra is very popular with its design special rear windowpane design. Exterior design of Tata Sierra resembles the old generation Sierra SUV. The boxy design is beautifully carved with sharp lines and slight curves keeping context with Tata’s impact 2.0 design philosophy. From the front Tata Sierra has almost similar look as Harrier and Safari, slim connecting LED DRLs across the bonnet, slim headlamp sits below DRLs, dual tone bumper, larger skid-plate. From the side Tata Sierra has massive 21-inch alloy-wheel with flared wheel-arches with cladding, signature rear window-pane design, black-out B pillars. Tata Sierra will come with 5 door and 5-seater configuration, 200mm ground clearance with 2650mm long wheelbase. From the rear SUV gets sleek LED taillamps which runs across its tailgate. There is also subtle “Sierra” branding with the taillamps and dual tone rear bumper. The rear of the Tata Sierra uses a large rectangular windshield which is well-integrated with panoramic moonroof thus giving a cabin a hotel like experience.

Tata Sierra interior 

From the interior, Tata Sierra has minimal design and large cabin space. Tata Sierra gets clean dual tone dashboard layout with twin-screen layout, ambient lighting, wireless android auto and apple car play, automatic climate control, four spoke flat-bottom steering wheel. We can expect physical HVAC controls and buttons to operate most of the features in the production version.

Front passengers get the individual seats, the rear seat is designed as a single unit in L-shape which is reworked like a large couch. This gives the rear seating ambience a hotel like environment. We can expect Tata will offer roomy cabin with a larger, usable boot space, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats.

Tata Sierra will come with dual-motor four-wheel drive configuration but

company can also introduce Tata Sierra with Internal Combustion engine, likely it will employ the newly introduced 1.5 litre 4-cylinder T-GDi engine generates maximum power of 170ps and 280Nm of peak torque mated with 6-speed MT and AMT. Tata Sierra will come with advanced safety features like advanced airbags, Electronic stability control, hill hold control, rear-view camera and sensors, advanced ADAS technology.

Expected price of the Tata Sierra range between Rs 25 lakh-Rs 30 lakh depending on the variant selected.
