Honda has finally launched the dio 125 in the indian market.Honda offered two variants in Dio 125.

⦁ Standard : Rs 83,400 ( ex-showroom)

⦁ Smart : Rs 91,300 ( ex-showroom)

"Honda Dio 125 has been specially designed and developed to fulfill the urge of young indian customers" Mr Tsutsumu Otani said.The scooter comes with 3 years of standard warranty where as the owner can extend it upto 10 years by opting for optional extended warranty.

Engine and Transmission

Design of the Honda Dio 125 is the almost same but difference is Honda's 125cc single cylinder air-cooled engine which being used in Honda Grazia 125 and activa 125.The engine generates 8.19bhp of max power  at 6250 rpm and 10.4Nm of peak torque at 5000rpm mated with rear wheel CVT transmission.The engine gets Honda's eSP, automatic choke system and idle start/stop function.Honda Dio 125 gets telescopic fork / monoshock suspension.

Key features of Honda Dio 125 : 

The Dio 125 gets fully digital instrument cluster which shows distance, average, trip meter, clock, side-stand indicator, eco-indicator. Smart variant comes with Honda's H-smart key which features a lock mod that combines 5 function into single rotatory knob.The Dio 125 has front disc brake and rear drum brake and also gets alloy wheels and tubeless tyres, 171mm ground clearance.The dio rides on 12" front and 10" rear alloy wheel.Also gets LED headlights, a silent starter, dual-function switch to open the 18-litre under seat boot and external fuel filler cap.
