 Hero Motorcorp india is planning to manufacture Zero electric motorcycle in india.Both the compnies signed an agreement to confirm that the same in march this year.Annual report of Hero motocorp suggest there has significant developement in its partnership which allows Hero to co-develop premium electric motorcycles.This will open the door to a premium hero badged electric bike on road.

Company aims to capture a wide customer base and capitalise on the global shift toward the electric mobility.The collaboration combines expertise and technology of Zero's in-house developed powertrain with the scale of manufacturing, sourcing, amrketing of Hero motocorp. This brand is positioned in the US as a premium EV brand and brand has an extensive line-up of motorcycles for various segment.If hero wants to make a big difference in EV space, it will have to price Zero bikes quite competitively

Zero electric has two distinct categories : street, dualsport. The street has 5 option: SR/S, SR/F, SR, S and FXE and dual sport has 4 options : DSR/X, DSR, DS and FX.Hero will bringing the Zero portfolio india and being fully manufactured in india and pricing should be competitive.Under the Vida, company retails the Vida V1 Pro electric scooter in india.We expect these bikes to be launch in last quarter of 2025.
