Maruti Suzuki has quietly launched the Fronx CNG in the country.maruti has launched this car at Rs 8.41 lakh in india.The factory-fitted CNG option is offered in two trim levels - Sigma and Delta.

  • Sigma CNG – Rs 8.41 lakh
  • Delta CNG – Rs 9.27 lakh
  • 1.2 litre petrol engine+CNG, 28.51 km/kg mileage

Engine and Transmission 


The Fronx CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engine generates 76 Bhp power and 98.5 Nm which is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. It is being claimed that the Fronx CNG can deliver a mileage of 28.51 km/kg.

Key features of Maruti Fronx


The features list includes a 9-inch infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, head-up display, cruise control, auto climate control, six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill-hold assist, 360-degree camera,  ISOFIX child seat anchors and ABS with EBD are included.  Fronx is a 5 seater crossover car.  It gets 308-litres of boot space.

As of now, there is no car to directly compete with the Frox but it can take on the likes of sub-compact SUVs like Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Exter.
