Mg comet is a second electric vehicle after the MG ZS EV which was launch in 2020. Mg comic is price at ₹7.98 lakh for the pace variant going up to ₹9.28lakh for play variant and 9.98 lakh for top of the line plus trim (ex-showroom).

MG Comet EV comes with a 17.3 kWh battery pack which power single electric motor generates 42hp power and 100Nm of torque. The Comet EV comes in with a claimed range of 230km (ARAI) on a single charge but actually stands between 170 to 180 km range. The Comet EV has been evaluated by MG to cost around Rs 519 / 1000km.

In terms of dimension, MG Comet EV is under 3 meter in length, 1640mm in height, 1505mm in width, 2010mm wheelbase. It gets spacious cabin which is in 4-seater format with a 50:50 setting for second row seats.
