Toyota Rumion is the rebadged version of the Maruti Ertiga with minimal styling tweaks

Toyota has launched its new Toyota Rumion MPV in india with starting price of Rs 10.29 lakh for the base model and going upto 13.68 lakh for the higher variants, both prices are ex-showroom, India.Booking of the Toyota rumion with token amount of Rs 11,000, the deliveries will commence from september 8. Toyota also offer CNG variant of Toyota Rumion, priced at Rs 11.24 lakh.

Toyota rumion MPV is available in three trim options: S, G and V. The factory fitted CNG kit is only available in base model S trim, while automatic gearbox option is available in all the variants except G variant.

Toyota Rumion MPV Exterior

From design point of view, Toyota Rumion is almost similar to its cousin brother Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.Major changes in exterior are new front bumper with trapezoidal foglamp housing, projector headlamps, Innova crysta styled grille with centered Toyota badge and chrome inserts, new dual tone alloy wheels. Rest of the the car from side and rear are identical to Maruti ertiga.

As we talk identical exterior, Interior of the Toyota rumion is similar to Ertiga.Toyota Rumion gets dual tone black and beige color dashboard, faux wood inserts and beige fabric upholestery.The MPV also gets 7" infotainment display with wireless android auto and apple carplay, automatic climate control, engine push start/stop button, cruise control, digital MID display with analog instrument cluster, four airbags, connected car tech. Toyota Rumion is only available in 7-seat configuration.

Under the bonnet toyota Rumion gets 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 103 hp and 137Nm of torque which is mated with 5-speed MT or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.1.5-litre CNG petrol engine producing 88hp and 121.5Nm of torque, paired with manual transmission.Toyota claims the Toyota Rumion mileage 20.51kmpl for petrol engine and 26.11km/kg for CNG engine.

In terms of safety, Toyota offers four airbags, ESP with hill hold assist, ISOFIX child seat mounts, rear parking sensors and camera, ABS with EBD.

Toyota is offering standard warrenty of 3 yaers/ 1,00,000km, which can extend upto 5 years/2,20,000km.Toyota Rumion will takes the like of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Kia Carens, Maruti XL6, Renault triber.
