Audi India has launched the Q8 e-tron in india with starting price of Rs 1.14 crore for suv and 1.18 crore for sportback (ex-showroom, India).both the suv and sportback is available in two trim options : 50 and 55 .Booking of Audi Q8 e-tron started with token price of Rs 5 lakh.

Audi Q8 e-tron : powertrain

Audi offers two battery pack in Q8 e-tron according to variants.The 55 variant gets a larger battery pack 114kWh, while to variant gets 95kWh battery pack.The batteries powers two electric motors on each axle which have combined output of 340hp and 408hp in the 50 and 55 variant with 664Nm of torque in both variants.the suv has maximum claimed range of 491km for 50 variant and 582km range for 55 variant.while sportback has range of 505km and 600km in the 50 and 55 variants, respectively.Audi is offering 22kW AC charger with car, it can supports upto 170kW dc fast charging.The Audi Q8 e-tron 50 variant can charge from 0-100 % in just 4.45hours and 55 variant can charge from 0-100% in just 6hours due to larger battery pack.

All new Audi Q8 e-tron gets minimal exterior changes and refreshed a design little bit.All new black surrounds grille with new mesh design, visually connecting LED bar with tweeaked headlamps, gets new 2D Audi's logo finished in white, redesign front and rear bumper and edgier styling, new design 20" alloy wheels, connecting LED taillights with LED bar, Matrix LED headlamps, shark-fin antenna.

Audi Q8 e-tron interior gets features including 10.1" infotainment screen and 8.6" screen for HVAC control, also gets all digital instrument cluster with Audi's virtual cockpit plus, Bang and olufsen 16 speaker systems, a panoramic sunroof, 4 zone climate control, a 360 degree camera, ventilated seats and heater in front seats, leather wrapped multifunction steering, cruise control with speed limiter function, electrically opening and closing boot lid.

Audi Q8 e-tron : safety features

In terms of safety, Audi Q8 e-tron comes with safety features like 8 airbags, 360 degree camera, park assist package with park assist plus, TPMS, Lane departure warning, ISOFIX chils seat anchor points, Anti theft wheel bolts with loose wheel warning etc.

The Audi Q8 e-tron will take likes of BMW i-X, Jaguar I-Pace and more.
