Mahindra and mahindra unveiled the Scorpio N based pickup concept- the Global pickup in south africa.Mahindra also revealed Mahindra Thar.e at that event.Currently mahindra using name pickup monikar for its classic scorpio based pickup in many international market.mahindra says it is on next generation ladder frame that will fare well in Global NCAP and Euro NCAP tests.

The pickup has been designed in india the concept come with similar clue with Mahindra Scorpio N like headlight design, Bonnet, fenders and front doors.Mahindra Global Pickup has a new front bumper with massive bash plate, toe hook at the bottom, from the top bash plate popped out of the grille llooks more aggressive, snorkel for better water wadding capabilities, new design LED foglamp with new foglamp housing, black large skid plate, roof rack with LED light bar at the front, lower end door cladding. The double cab concept has a flying butress design for the load bed and show car carries two spare tyres in the load area.The wheelbase of the pickup is lengthened to accomodate a load area which you can expect 2850mm in length.

Rear of the Mahindra global pickup has Mahindra lattering embosed on tailgate, has a two tow hooks at rear bumper with centre portion has step to ease climbing into the load bed, pixel like taillights design. mahindra global pickup will be come with futuristic features like level 2  Autonomus driving, Semi-automatic parking and 5G based connectivity features.India based pickup is expected to come with sunroof.mahindra will also offer Tailor Sway Mitigation, ESP that detects when a towed trailor begins to sway and uses ESP to brake and throttle control to counteract it.

Mahindra global pickup will come with all new gen-II all-aluminium m-Hawk diesel engine which will be mated with either 6-speed manual or Aisin sourced 6-speed automatic gerabox.Mahindra global pickup will come with 4WD and shift-on-the-fly capability.There are also four driving modes : Normal, Grass-Gravel Snow, Mud-Rut, and Sand.
