Toyota is planning to launch Toyota Rumion in india which is the rebadged version of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga already in the market.It is the third vehicle of maruti suzuki being rebadged as a toyota in India.Toyota Rumion will be launched in india in september this year.

Toyota Rumion: Exterior

Toyota Rumion features a different front profile like Innova crysta style front grille with chrome accent, redesigned front bumper and fog lamp assembly, lower bumper is surrounded by chrome accent, headlamp design will be the same as Maruti Suzuki Ertiga with same projector headlamps, 15" alloy wheel same as Ertiga with new design, new front and rear bumper design.We can expect to see new color option on exterior of Toyota Rumion.

Toyota Rumion comes with new interior color theme for the dashboard, door pads, upholestery, but layout and features will be the same as maruti ertiga.Toyota Rumion should get the 7" touchscreen infotainment system, wireless android-auto and apple carplay, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, push start/stop button.

Toyota Rumion: Engine and Transmission

Toyota will use the same engine options such as 1.5-litre NA petrol engine generates 103bhp of power and 137Nm of maximum torque. The engine will be paired with 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.According to source, The Toyota will introduce CNG powertrain in the future.

Toyota Rumion: safety

In terms of safety, Toyota Rumion should get upto 4 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, rear parking camera and sensors.

The upcoming Toyota Rumion is expected to come with higher price tag. The Rumion price is expected to start at Rs 8.80 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
