Updates to the Tata Nexon EV are motivated by the Curvv idea, just like the ICE Nexon. With the exception of the electric blue accents, the previous Nexon and Nexon EV models were virtually identical, but the facelifted models stand out more. Tata Motors asserts that the updated design is more aerodynamic and that even the new LED lighting components use less energy, which increases range. On the EV, the upper part of the grille now has a single-tone, body-colored finish rather than the contrasting black finish found on the ICE variants. The trapezoidal headlight housings and the lower portion of the grille, meanwhile, sport a distinctive slatted design; the latter even has useful air vents. The full-width LED light band that runs across the nose of the EV, which is an exact copy of the Curvv idea and even serves a practical use by indicating the state of charging, is, however, its most distinguishing feature.
The 2023 Nexon EV receives the same split headlight design as the normal Nexon, as well as trapezoidal housings for the main cluster and sequential LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a sizable grille on the lower bumper with a thick plastic bar running across it, and a faux-silver skid plate. The 2023 Tata Nexon EV's profile is mostly unaltered, but its alloys now have a new look that matches the ICE variants. Again, the Nexon EV 2023 shares many exterior features with the ICE version in the rear, including connected LED taillamps, a prominent roof-mounted spoiler, a substantial bumper finished in the body color, and contrasting black and silver accents. It also sports a "EV" badge on its back.

Tata Nexon EV facelift powertrain
Tata Motors has abandoned the Prime and Max prefixes in favor of Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR) to distinguish between the two Nexon models with this 2023 Nexon EV. The Nexon EV 2023 MR and LR each retain their current batteries of 30 and 40.5 kWh, respectively. The range has increased despite the fact that battery sizes have stayed the same. Due in part to better aerodynamics and other efficiency measures, the MR's stated range is 325 km and the LR's is 465 km, both of which are 12 km longer than before. The battery maintains IP67 security requirements.
The batteries in both models can now be fully charged from 10 to 100 percent in 4.3 hours for the MR and 6 hours for the LR using a regular 7.2kW AC charger. That period is shortened to just 56 minutes for both variants when using a DC fast charger. As of right now, the electric SUV is also capable of V2V (vehicle to vehicle) and V2L (vehicle to load) charging, allowing you to use it to charge other electrical devices or even another EV. Tata asserts that the Nexon EV facelift is equipped with tires that have the lowest rolling resistance in the nation to promote the cause of efficiency.

It's interesting to note that while power outputs have remained constant, torque on the MR variant has actually decreased by 30 Nm, while it has decreased by 38 Nm on the LR variant. The LR is advertised by Tata as having a 0-100kph sprint time of 8.9 seconds, a top speed of 150kph, and improved NVH levels. Three driving options are available: Eco, City, and Sport.
