Did you know that Ferrari sold more hybrid vehicles than non-hybrid models this year? Despite this, the builders of some of the world's most iconic sportscars have claimed record deliveries, sending out 10,418 units worldwide until September, an increase of 524 units. According to a report from Vigna has also verified that some of the testing operations on the Ferrari electric vehicle are being carried out using a technology commonly used in the testing of electrical products. This is a "Hardware in the Loop" (HIP) testing technique that is also used in smartphone and computer testing processes to check endurance under changing settings.

While the Ferrari EV is still in the prototype stage, the business is also putting final touches on a whole new facility in Maranello that will be dedicated solely to the production of hybrids and fully-electric vehicles. Vigna previously dismissed the possibility of Ferrari collaborating with a second player to produce an EV, as well as the possibility of acquiring another supercar company and bringing it under the Ferrari umbrella.
