MG Cyberster launched in china , anticipated to be launch in India
The MG Cyberster was anticipated to be priced at a minimum of CNY 239,800, equivalent to Rs. 27.5 lakh, in light of the intensifying price competition in China. Before this development, the initial price for MG Cyberster was set at CNY 300,000.
MG Cyberster, which made its début at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, has now been introduced in China. The pricing of this British brand's all-electric sportscar is the subject of discussion. The vehicle is available in three distinct specification levels: Glamour Edition, Style Edition, and Pioneer Edition. Different powertrain configurations are also available.
Pricing information indicates that the Pioneer Edition AWD 520 costs CNY 315,800 (approximately Rs. 41.5 lakh), while the MG Cyberster Glamour Edition RWD 501 costs CNY 319,800 (approximately Rs. 37 lakh). In comparison, a top-spec Cyberster costs Rs. 10 lakh less in China than a top-spec Fortuner in India.
MG Cyberster, which debuted in China, is an opulent and sensational two-door all-electric sportscar with a maximum battery capacity of 77 kWh, a dual-motor configuration producing 536 bhp and 725 Nm of torque, scissor doors (similar to Lamborghini doors), an electrically operated convertible soft top, and performance metrics including a 3.2-second sprint to 100 km/h from rest.
The Cyberster signifies MG's resumption of sportscar manufacturing. The RWD 501 base model is equipped with a 64 kWh battery pack that supplies electricity to a single rear-wheel-drive motor producing 310 bhp and 475 Nm. The range is estimated to be 501 kilometres. RWD 580 mid-spec features a 77 kWh battery despite maintaining the same single-motor RWD configuration. Each model can accelerate to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
Its dimensional attributes are as follows: length of 4535 mm, width of 1913 mm, height of 1329 mm, and wheelbase of 2690 mm.Opening the convertible roof at velocities below 50 km/h requires ten seconds. The design as a whole is phenomenal. Complementing the sloping front, bodywork air ducts, classic headlamp design, and timeless proportions are 20-inch aluminium wheels adorned with four-pot red-painted Brembo brake callipers.
The triple-screen arrangement located behind the steering column is the focal point of the interior. Extroverted outer displays at both ends face the driver. The steering wheel has a flat floor, as opposed to the yoke that was previously displayed. MG has not completely discarded the buttons, as a portion of them remain, meticulously crafted to emanate sophistication. The entire interior is upholstered in plush, high-quality materials, which are further enhanced by the pervasive metallic accents.
We would like MG to introduce the top-of-the-line AWD 520 model in India for approximately Rs. 80 lakh, whereas in China it costs Rs. 41.5 lakh.
