Toyota's Game-Changing Toyota 340D SUV Revealed! Aims to Dominate Indian Roads in 2026

In its initial year, the new plant will be able to produce 80,000 to 120,000 vehicles annually. Later, it can be increased to generate about 200,000 units annually. Currently, Toyota can produce about 400,000 units annually. The third plant will add about 30% more production capacity.
It is not at all surprising that Toyota decided to introduce a mid-size SUV given the remarkable rise this market has been seeing. It has a lot of potential for the future as well. The mid-size category can benefit from Toyota's competence in SUVs. similar to the popularity of the Grand Vitara and Hyryder in the compact SUV market.
The new Toyota SUV will enable Toyota to fill the void between the Hyryder and Innova Hycross in its product lineup. The new mid-size SUV from Toyota may also be considered for export, particularly to countries with right-hand drives.
