Powertain, battery, range
Tata Nexon EV facelift is available in two variants: Mid Range and Long Range.A 30 kWh battery pack powers the Mid Range, while a bigger 40.5 kWh battery pack powers the Long Range.The battery sizes remains unchanged from the model before the redesign, but they have been enhanced to squeeze out greater range. The Mid Range model has a range of up to 325 km, and the Long Range model has a range of up to 465 km on a full charge, which is a 12 km increase in range. The Nexon EV facelift is powered by a Gen2 motor that produces 127 bhp peak power and 215 Nm of torque for the MR model and 143 bhp peak power and 215 Nm for the LR model.
On other hand, the MG ZS EV comes with bigger 50.3kWh battery-pack which claims to drove car 461km on a single charge.Range of the MG ZS EV is slightly higher than Tata Nexon EV facelift.MG ZS EV gets a permanent magnet synchronus motors that produces 174.33bhp of power and 280Nm of torque.
