Tata motors has launched facelift version of both Tata Nexon ICE and EV in india last week.The 2023 Tata nexon EV facelift comes major updates in cosmetics, features, battery range and powertrain.Tata Nexon EV facelift price ranging between Rs 14.74 lakh to Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom).The 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift continue to rival with like of  Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona.

This all-electric compact SUV has been crucial in helping the domestic automaker capture more than 80% of the lucrative Indian electric vehicle market, where both mass-market and luxury automakers have been launching their various versions over the past few years. Tata Motors has made numerous improvements to the Nexon EV facelift in an effort to broaden the attractiveness of the vehicle and draw in more customers.

Prices

Tata nexon EV facelift price ranges between Rs 14.74 lakh to Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom).While, MG ZS EV priced between Rs 23.38 lakh to Rs 28 lakh (ex-showroom).It shows that Tata Nexon.ev facelift is significantly cheaper than the MG ZS EV. Top model of 2023 Tata Nexon EV facelift is much cheaper in compared to base model of  MG ZS EV.

Powertain, battery, range

Tata Nexon EV facelift is available in two variants: Mid Range and Long Range.A 30 kWh battery pack powers the Mid Range, while a bigger 40.5 kWh battery pack powers the Long Range.The battery sizes remains unchanged from the model before the redesign, but they have been enhanced to squeeze out greater range. The Mid Range model has a range of up to 325 km, and the Long Range model has a range of up to 465 km on a full charge, which is a 12 km increase in range. The Nexon EV facelift is powered by a Gen2 motor that produces 127 bhp peak power and 215 Nm of torque for the MR model and 143 bhp peak power and 215 Nm for the LR model.

On other hand, the MG ZS EV comes with bigger 50.3kWh battery-pack which claims to drove car 461km on a single charge.Range of the MG ZS EV is slightly higher than Tata Nexon EV facelift.MG ZS EV gets a permanent magnet synchronus motors that produces 174.33bhp of power and 280Nm of torque.
