Revolutionary Suzuki eWX Unveiled at Tokyo Show - Will It Change Your Daily Commute Forever?
Suzuki debuted its new eWX concept at Tokyo's Japan Mobility Show 2023. According to the manufacturer, the eWX concept is a compact waggon EV that stays near to people's daily life. Suzuki has only released the eWX's size and driving range so far. Aside from the eWX, the firm also displayed the Swift idea, an improved version of the eVX, and the Spacia idea. Aside from that, there were only a few personal mobility vehicles and scooters.
The Suzuki eWX will have a range of up to 230 kilometres on a single charge. As a result, there is a significant chance that Suzuki will use a single electric motor to power either the front or rear wheels. It has a length of 3,395 mm, a width of 1,475 mm, and a height of 1,620 mm. "Concept model is a crossover of fun and practical mini waggon unique to Suzuki, and futuristic EV," Suzuki says. With the clean and simple body shape of an EV, an exterior with a friendly attitude, and a light and user-friendly cabin area that makes people feel at home, it communicates a buddy-like presence that supports people's daily life."
The eWX is even shorter than the S-Presso, which is available in India, measuring less than 3.4 metres. Suzuki appears to be targeting Kei car purchasers in Japan with the eWX, who are now looking to switch to an electric vehicle. Because of the tall boy design, the occupants should have enough headroom.
The EV is finished in a dual-tone colour scheme of dark and light grey in the concept image. The front bumper, alloy wheels, and window frames all have neon green highlights. In the front, there are C-shaped LED Daytime Running Lamps and a luminous Suzuki emblem.
